Obama Way Ahead in the MySpace Campaign– So What?

I visit Barack’s MySpace page I’m greeted with the message Barack Obama is in your extended network. And I currently have two friends, so that’s saying something. I really do hope these numbers translate to support and votes.
I imagine that there is not a tight correlation between MySpace contacts and votes in an election 11 or so months away. Jarvis made a point on new numerics last week in discussing Phil de Vellis’ Vote Different video:
even a million and a half views is still small…. Watching it doesn’t mean we agree with it. So be careful with measurement in this new arena.
